I'm not doing much but count the days right now. This week is always the hardest one, no exception this time. I did throw the ball for the dog briefly to her great joy but that tired me out for the rest of the day.
I hope everyone is enjoying the Labor Day weekend.

  1. Good morning Kay,
My thoughts and prayers are with you to strengthen you. Take care of yourself, we love you. How are your electrolytes and hydration doing? We will be spending today with Kathryn and her boyfriend Chris AND David and his girlfriend Tess. Thank you for keeping us updated, I'm sure you don't always feel up to blogging but we appreciate it.

  2. Hi Kay -

I probably felt better than you did, but I can't say that I accomplished anything worthwhile over the long weekend. Dear Isabelle left me a gift of a cold that turned into a sinus infection so after visiting the urgent care center on Saturday morning, I spent the weekend popping pills, using nasal sprays, and trying to get rest. Today I'm coming out of the fog and I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now the trick is to not go flat out this week. :-)

Claire's children were once again on television yesterday for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. Of course it was just in the Sacramento area, but they all get a kick out of doing this. Elliott always steals the limelight . . . he was on three times compared to Taylor's one shot, but she's used to her brother being the star. He's got a great sense of humor and is a big ham so he's always very popular. Claire sent us a video clip from a local tv station that aired a couple days ahead of the telethon and I'll try to send it to your email address.

Sending a little package your way this week . . . hope it's something new for you; otherwise, you may find it's worth doing again.

Hope you're feeling better this morning!

    Love and hugs,
    Lynn and Dan

  3. I loved reading your blog again. Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking of you, my wonderful doctor! I love your sense of humor and your easy way with me, your patient.

I'm thinking of you and sending you many warm wishes for good health and tolerance to go with the waiting. :)

  4. Mmm. You commented that this would be a tougher week. You must be busy or tired. Enjoy the late summer weather.
